Our Founder
Davis was founded in 1996 by MLB umpire Gerry Davis. One of only four umpires to call over 5,000 Major League games across a career spanning three decades, Gerry knew what officials needed because he lived it.
He built Davis on a simple idea: officials deserve gear engineered for what they actually do. Not borrowed. Not adapted. Purpose-built. What Gerry started continues. Davis remains focused on equipping umpires, referees, and officials at every level with gear built for what they actually face.
