We stand behind our gear with the same confidence. Each product comes with one of three warranty levels: 6-Month Limited Warranty, 1-Year Limited Warranty, or Limited Lifetime Warranty.

6-Month Limited Warranty

Overview
Our 6-month limited warranty protects against manufacturing defects in workmanship and materials. This includes defects that emerge through normal use within six months of purchase, such as split seams, unraveling stitches, or material failure without excessive wear.

If a manufacturing defect appears, we'll repair or replace your product at our discretion. For minor issues, we may offer store credit. This warranty requires proof of purchase and applies to genuine Davis products used as intended with proper care.

Normal wear and tear, misuse, accidents, and alterations are not covered under this warranty. See below for complete terms and frequently asked questions.
What's Covered
This warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials that become evident through normal use within the warranty period. Manufacturing defects include issues such as split seams, unraveling stitches, or material failure without excessive wear.
Coverage Period
Coverage begins on the original date of purchase and extends for six months. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.
What we will do
Our warranty process begins with a virtual inspection. You'll need to provide clear photographs of the product and defect in question. If our warranty team determines that further review is needed, we'll inspect the product in person at no charge.

If we determine, in our sole discretion, that the product has a defect covered under this Limited Warranty, we will:

- Repair the product
- Replace the product, or
- Issue store credit equivalent to the product's or similar product's MSRP

Please allow approximately three weeks from inspection for resolution. Processing times may be longer during peak seasons for certain products.
Products covered by this warranty
This warranty applies to most Davis apparel lines with the exception of some lines, which may carry another warranty policy. This warranty does not cover any protective equipment, which is exclusively protected under our 1-Year and Limited Lifetime warranties. For details, see individual products for warranty details.

1-Year Limited Warranty

Overview
Our 1-Year limited warranty protects against manufacturing defects in workmanship and materials for protective equipment and select apparel. This includes defects that emerge through normal use within one year of purchase, such as structural integrity issues, padding deterioration, or material failure without excessive wear.

If a manufacturing defect appears, we'll repair or replace your product at our discretion. For minor issues, we may offer store credit. This warranty requires proof of purchase and applies to genuine Davis gear used as intended with proper care.

Normal wear and tear, misuse, accidents, and alterations are not covered under this warranty. Any modifications to the product will void this warranty. Additionally, excessive wear, abuse, or use outside of intended purpose will void this warranty.

Limited Lifetime Warranty

Our Limited Lifetime Warranty protects against manufacturing defects for the practical lifespan of your Davis products. This warranty covers manufacturing defects in workmanship and materials throughout your product's reasonable lifetime of use.

It's important to understand that "lifetime" refers to the product's practical lifespan - the usual and customary wearable life of the product - not an indefinite period or the owner's lifetime. The practical lifespan varies by product and depends on several factors, including frequency of use, care, and normal material deterioration over time.

Our warranty team determines a product's practical lifespan by evaluating:

- Product Type: Different products have varying expected lifespans based on their design and materials
- Nature of Use: The conditions and frequency of use
- Product Age: The total time since purchase and expected wear patterns

If a manufacturing defect appears during your product's practical lifespan, we'll repair or replace it at our discretion. For minor issues, we may offer store credit. Product type plays a fundamental role in determining practical lifespan. Premium products are built to different specifications, and each category has its own expected lifetime. For instance, a our BFX Pro pants may have a different practical lifespan than a protective equipment product, even though both may be covered under this warranty.

The nature of use significantly impacts a product's practical lifespan. Our warranty team considers how frequently the product is used, including the amount of annual usuage. They evaluate the conditions under which the product is used, such as indoor versus outdoor use and environmental exposure. The level of activity and adherence to care instructions also factor into this assessment.

Product age is evaluated within the context of normal wear patterns and industry standards. While there's no fixed timeline, we consider the time since purchase alongside expected material aging and deterioration rates. It's important to understand that all materials naturally deteriorate and fade over time, and moving parts will eventually wear with use.

A product reaching the end of its practical lifespan typically shows normal signs of wear, such as material fading, expected wear patterns, or component aging. These signs generally indicate that replacement is needed, rather than warranty coverage. The final determination of a product's practical lifespan rests with our warranty team, who apply their expertise to each case individually.

Warranty FAQ

Obtaining Service
All warranty claims must be submitted directly through Davis. Retailers and dealers cannot submit claims on your behalf. Products must be cleaned according to care instructions before shipment. We will destroy or return insufficiently cleaned products unprocessed.
Shipping
Customers are responsible for shipping items to our warranty center. Davis will cover return shipping costs. We recommend using a reputable carrier that provides tracking information and proof of delivery. Customers are responsible for their product until we sign for delivery. Davis cannot be held responsible for packages lost in transit.

Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping repaired or replacement items.
How Local Law Applies
Our warranties gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction.

Limitation of Liability
Davis and its suppliers', affiliates', and agents' maximum liability pursuant to this Limited Warranty, or any other express or implied warranty, is limited to the purchase price you paid for the product. Neither Davis nor its suppliers, affiliates, or agents are liable for any inability to perform under this Limited Warranty due to events beyond its or their control, such as acts of God, or for property damage, personal injury, loss of use, or other consequential, punitive, or special damages, however caused, whether for breach of warranty, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, other than those damages which are incapable of limitation, exclusion or restriction under applicable law. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation or exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you in whole or in part.
Governing Law and Venue; Severability
Our warranties shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law provision or rule. Any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to this Limited Warranty shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Outagamie County, Wisconsin. If any provision of this Limited Warranty is held to be illegal, invalid, or unenforceable, the legality, validity, and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not be affected or impaired.

YES, products returned to us for warranty service or repair must be clean. Failure to clean your products before returning them to us will result in them either being rejected or destroyed.
