The Apex Leg Guards shed weight without sacrificing protection. HDPE molded shells and high-density closed cell foam deliver coverage in a slim, form-fitting profile that stays in place whether you're set behind the plate or moving to cover a play.

The removable comfort layer features FNX fabric technology. Mineral-infused fibers react to body heat, lowering skin temperature and wicking moisture. Pull the liner out, throw it in the wash, and it's ready for your next game.

Ergonomic contours match your leg shape. Stainless steel rivets and slimline composite buckles hold secure without adding bulk. Three lengths fit different frames.

Warranty

Our 1-Year limited warranty protects against manufacturing defects in workmanship and materials for our protective equipment. This includes defects that emerge through normal use within one year of purchase, such as structural integrity issues, padding deterioration, or material failure without excessive wear.

If a manufacturing defect appears, we'll repair or replace your product at our discretion. For minor issues, we may offer store credit. This warranty requires proof of purchase and applies to genuine Davis protective equipment used as intended with proper care.

Normal wear and tear, misuse, accidents, and alterations are not covered under this warranty. Any modifications to the product will void this warranty. Additionally, excessive wear, abuse, or use outside of intended purpose will void this warranty.

Much lighter & less cumbersome than my previous shin guards. Also like how the padding can removed and thrown in the washer. The plastic connectors for the leg straps, which allow you to have the connection on the inside of your legs without rubbing them off, are a nice feature also.

The shin guards are a perfect fit and really are comfortable. They stay in place and work well while running to cover the bases. After working my games they dry very well. I highly recommend these for anyone looking to upgrade their equipment. I have always preferred Davis baseball equipment since I started umpiring in 1999. It’s the brand that I trust to perform well. My last pair, which I’ve had for ten years had the two strap system. I wish this pair had the two strap system, even with the multiple straps, they are comfortable.

The umpire leg guards are light, form-fitting, and protect even the hard-hit foul ball. I umpire women's and men's fast-pitch softball at the high school collegiate and adult levels. I recommend these shin guards for all fast-pitch umpires.

I've been wearing these for a few weeks now. I've had most of the big name leg-guards (Douglas, Force3, Wilson, Champro, etc.) and these feel lighter than any of them. They offer great protection with the same ankle plating that the new F3 shins have. The removable piece inside also reminds me of F3 so you can wash it - or keep it out for an ever lower profile fit. I highly recommend these guards. They are protective, lightweight and affordable. The only reason I see to use another brand here is because you want the logo - save your money and pick these up instead!
