Store the chest protector at room temperature in a ventilated, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Avoid placing heavy objects on it or storing it in extreme temperatures. If the product becomes wet during use, ensure it is thoroughly dry before storing. Never fold or compress the DX Enduro D3O in ways it is not designed for.

For cleaning, remove the hard plates before wiping the pads with a damp cloth. Avoid using detergents, cleaning agents, or washing machines, as these can irreparably damage the D3O material and reduce its effectiveness. Allow the pads to air dry in a well-ventilated space at room temperature. Do not use hair dryers, heaters, or other heat sources to accelerate drying.

Our 1-Year limited warranty protects against manufacturing defects in workmanship and materials for our protective equipment. This includes defects that emerge through normal use within one year of purchase, such as structural integrity issues, padding deterioration, or material failure without excessive wear.

If a manufacturing defect appears, we'll repair or replace your product at our discretion. For minor issues, we may offer store credit. This warranty requires proof of purchase and applies to genuine Davis protective equipment used as intended with proper care.

Normal wear and tear, misuse, accidents, and alterations are not covered under this warranty. Any modifications to the product will void this warranty. Additionally, excessive wear, abuse, or use outside of intended purpose will void this warranty.

Proper Fit Required for Maximum Protection

This chest protector is designed using D3O® rate-sensitive impact technology, which remains flexible during regular movement but stiffens instantly upon impact to help disperse force and reduce the risk of injury.

For this technology to work effectively, the chest protector must be worn tightly and snugly against the body. A loose or improperly fitted protector may create air gaps—spaces between the protector and your body—that significantly reduce the product’s ability to absorb and spread impact energy. In these cases, the material may stiffen before making full contact with the body, causing it to behave more like a hard object striking the body rather than cushioning the blow. This can lead to greater localized force and a higher risk of injury. Additionally, a poor fit may expose areas that were intended to be protected.

For your safety, always ensure the chest protector is correctly fitted and adjusted before each use. No protective equipment can eliminate all risk of injury, and this product should be inspected regularly and discontinued if damaged or worn.

The Enduro CP is made for ALL levels of baseball, including NCAA and professional. The D3O foam sets a new standard in energy dispersement, while giving that low profile appearance we all want. While the weight is very light, this CP is still very substantial. The HDPE plastic is also light but durable. I love the g-hooks which makes it easy to put on and take off, without the concern of it rusting or breaking. It's also easy to tuck into my equipment bag. For just a couple of game checks, you can have this and know that it will last for many years. Well done, Davis and your product team!

Lightweight is a plus but no ventilation, too hot. Neck is pinched when raising arms for foul calls.

Before this chest protector, I had worn the West Vest for over a decade. They are very different, seeing as the Enduro D30 is much thinner/low profile. It’s a nice change for me. The padding is very dense even though it is thin. I feel protected, even with 80-90 mph pitches coming in. The construction is very high quality. The clips (or I should say hooks) take a little getting used to, but they are positioned nicely. The harness is the only part that I did not like, as I’m used to using the Umplife Flex harness. So I swapped it out and it works amazingly. I like the customizable neck padding and the pads on the sides can be adjusted too (or removed). Overall, it’s easy to move around in this chest protector but you still feel protected.

The problem is that there is no instructions with this protector. How do you use it properly???

This chest protector is the evolution that our industry has needed for a long time. The harness is fantastic and has removed the hassle of getting one of the straps fouled up while putting on a shirt. The front buckles are a subtle improvement that increases the durability of the chest protector and adds to the low profile.

It looks fantastic under a shirt as well as a plate coat.

This CP is now my #1. I am thoroughly pleased with the ease of movement and ability to get a good fit. Also, do to the quality of the foam and the way the ABS pieces connect, it feels broken in from day one. One of the issues I've had with chest protectors is rubbing on the side of my neck (it's 18.5"). With this one, I can wear it up high, like I want, without it rubbing raw spots on the side of my neck. I added the ab extension to mine (I'm 6'2"). Took a foul ball to the upper chest/collarbone area a couple weeks ago. It was loud. I knew I got hit. But, I felt no pain. I can proudly recommend this product.

I am a big fan of the West Vest but this one looked very good so I bought it and now I only use the TGB-BK-2PK. I had to tweak the harness to fit right on me as well as remove the neck guard and put it back on in the proper position for me. Being able to do that so easily makes me smile. I had to have customization done to my West Vest to make it feel right.

If I had to choose between this chest protector and a West Vest I can say that 95 out of 100 times I am picking this one. And don't get me wrong the West Vest would grade as a A. This one is an A+++ and I am not going back to the other one!

In the few games I've used it, it has felt great. Moving from the bulky Wilson West Vest Gold 1 to this has been such an upgrade in its low profile and feel. Looks and feels strong. I like the hooks although they take a bit of getting used to. I appreciate all the behind the scenes work that went into testing and design, knowing this is the best materials out there at the moment. Highly recommended even with the price. The optional armpit guards are nice. I like how it wraps around your ribs fully. I'm 6'1'', 190 lbs, and the 14'' fits great.

This is my new favorite protector. It is the lowest profile I've ever worn and offers great protection. The harness is very comfortable and keeps the protector in place. The only change I would make is to the loop where the straps come around the side protector. The loop is on the end of the side protector which when used doesn't allow the side piece to lay completely flat. The loop needs to be on top of the protection piece so the strap holds it flat against the umpire's side. I'm very pleased with this purchase and now use this protector instead of my West Vest.

Well, I own a Riddell Power. I have also owned and used every other popular chest protector made over the past 20 years. Many were fine, others not so fine. The D30 Enduro is the best one to hit the market since the Riddell. Derek and the team at Davis hit a home run with this one.

It's a great new development in umpire gear. Low profile, yet protective. If anyone is in the market for a new CP, I cannot recommend this one more.

It fits great, it accomplishes the thin profile I have been looking for and is super light. I believe it to be very durable and will be able to take shots very well. It is the best protector on the market and I have tried just about every chest protector except a Riddell Power.

From the moment i walked in to the house and saw the box, i was impressed. Box was tiny! Opened it up and said WOW out loud. My partner loved how slim and trim i appeared in it.

I believe this is a premium product that will either compete or surpass other premium chest protectors. After some minor changes, this will surpass all other chest protectors in the game. Great packaging and brand. Little prep needed to get the chest protector ready for wear. While slightly heavy, the CP worked great and I liked the low profile look and feel. The plates are cut at the right spots and the high performance pads are amazing for protection and breathability. A great chest protector for an umpire that works all levels of baseball/softball.

How do I know whether I need a 12” or 14” protector? I’m 5’5” tall and weigh about 190 lbs.

The size measures the vertical distance between neckline and bottom of the chest protector. This measurement would be a dead center, vertical meaurement to determine the amount of coverage needed. We recommend measuring from your neck to a point 2-3 inches above the navel for optimal fit ensuring full ribcage coverage.
