Not all masks let you see the same game. The Mirage 12 XCG opens your field of vision wider than any mask on the market. Rounded frame geometry positions bars outside your natural sight lines. Flat bar profiles reduce obstruction further. First to third. Every runner. No head movement required.

Injection-molded magnesium makes this possible. A single piece. No welds. Precise geometry that steel, aluminum and titanium frames can't achieve. When you do take a shot, magnesium reduces force transmission better than rigid metals. And unlike steel that bends or aluminum that fails under stress, magnesium holds its geometry. The XCG chin guard is built into the frame. Longer than competing designs. No dangling throat guard to manage.

The Cloud4 pad cores in the modular pad system completes the mask. Pad socks provide the structural interface. When mask bars take impact, molded EVA in the sock expands the contact area. Inside the core, the HDPE load distribution plate spreads it further. Then four layers manage deceleration: D3O Aeromax on the bottom pad where chin and cheek impacts are most common, Covalta on the top pad for consistent protection across temperature extremes, followed by high-density EVA, medium-density PU, and soft EVA at the face. Each layer hands off force to the next without the spike that occurs when mismatched materials meet.

Softer face feel than the Tango2 and Shear3 pad cores. Reliable protection down to 32°F.

When fabric wears from seasons of use, replace the socks. Not the cores.

Installation:

  1. Insert Cloud4 pad cores into pad socks. Ensure core orientation matches markings.
  2. Close zippers completely and secure zipper handles.
  3. Attach to Mirage 12 frame using hook-and-loop straps. Fasten tightly.

Our 1-Year limited warranty protects against manufacturing defects in workmanship and materials for our protective equipment. This includes defects that emerge through normal use within one year of purchase, such as structural integrity issues, padding deterioration, or material failure without excessive wear.

If a manufacturing defect appears, we'll repair or replace your product at our discretion. For minor issues, we may offer store credit. This warranty requires proof of purchase and applies to genuine Davis protective equipment used as intended with proper care.

Normal wear and tear, misuse, accidents, and alterations are not covered under this warranty. Any modifications to the product will void this warranty. Additionally, excessive wear, abuse, or use outside of intended purpose will void this warranty.
